Nintendo Switch Online members enjoy exclusive perks, including online gaming and a library of classic titles. Recent updates bring new games, features, and improvements to the service.
Gamers can now indulge in enhanced performance in select titles, thanks to improved processing power, speed, and graphics on both Nintendo Switch Lite and standard Switch systems.
The Nintendo Classics collection has grown with the addition of two Game Boy Advance gems: Klonoa: Empire of Dreams and Mr. Driller 2. Meanwhile, Super Mario Galaxy 2 fans can enjoy new tracks on the Nintendo Music app.
A dedicated accessory now allows Switch owners to play classic Virtual Boy games. Those who play F-Zero from the Super NES collection earn 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points, redeemable for rewards like user icon customization.
Paid members can also adorn their consoles with exclusive Super Mario Bros. metal panel art.
In September 2021, Nintendo introduced the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This tier granted access to Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games for the first time. While Game Boy Advance titles were not initially included, they were added in February 2023.
