First Nissan Ariya Electric SUVs Set to Arrive in Australia in September 2025

The much-anticipated Nissan Ariya electric SUVs are set to make their official debut in Australia, with deliveries expected to begin in early September 2025. Australian customers can already place orders for these eco-friendly vehicles, marking the EV's local introduction after a delay.

The Japanese-built medium SUV will be available in multiple versions, each equipped with two battery capacity options (63 kWh and 87 kWh) and front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The complete line-up includes the Engage, Advance, Advance+, and Evolve e-4orce variants.

The pricing for the Ariya starts at approximately AUD 55,840 before on-road costs. The driving range varies depending on the variant and battery size, with a maximum of 504 km.

Nissan Australia's deputy head of marketing and mobility, Warwick Daly, stated that the Ariya represents the next chapter of the company's electric vision. This launch aligns with Nissan Australia’s strategy to re-enter the EV market following the discontinuation of the Nissan Leaf locally earlier in 2025.

The Ariya is produced at Nissan's Tochigi Plant in Japan. It will be available in both 2WD and AWD versions, and comes with a long ten-year 300,000 km warranty when serviced by a Nissan dealer network across the country.

The SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 12.5-inch driver screen, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto. Two interior color options are available: black and blue nappa leather (in the Evolve variant).

Orders for the Nissan Ariya can be placed via Nissan's website or by visiting a Nissan dealership.
