Noida toy marketplace Snooplay secures Rs 8 crore funding, spearheaded by Pravek Family Office.

Snooplay, a Noida-based toy-tech startup, has recently secured Rs 8 crore in a pre-Series A1 funding round. This funding round was led by Pravek Family Office and involved strategic angel investors.

Founded in 2019 by Aanchal Mahajan and Brij Raj Singh, Snooplay aims to redefine play in India through its AI-powered platform. The company is not just building a toy store, but shaping the future of how India plays.

According to Aanchal Mahajan, Co-founder of Snooplay, they are building an app that helps with toy discovery, purchase, and recycling through AI, data, and empathy. The app is designed to provide developmental value, support sustainable choices, and reflect conscious, purpose-driven buying.

Snooplay's offerings are intended to change the way parents buy toys, addressing the issue of uncertainty and clutter. The startup claims to have over 35,000 toys from 600+ brands, ensuring a wide variety for its growing community of Indian parents, collectors, and gift-givers.

The funds raised will be used to launch two proprietary innovative tech products. Snooplay plans to expand its buyback program in collaboration with NGOs, promoting sustainable toy donations and encouraging conscious consumption. The company also aims to strengthen its private label offerings across various platforms, including modern retail outlets, e-commerce marketplaces, and curated gifting verticals.

One of the key innovations Snooplay is working on is the Toy Intelligence Database. This database will map thousands of toys to developmental skills, moods, play types, and learning goals, providing parents with valuable insights when making purchasing decisions.

Brij Raj Singh, Co-founder of Snooplay, believes toys are tools for shaping imagination, skills, and emotions. Snooplay is working to make toy-buying more intentional and less cluttered. The startup also aims to enhance toy discovery and introduce a toy-buyback mechanism, building the country's first intelligent toy loop.
