OnePlus 13 Update Brings Cleaner Animations, New IR Remote & Image Management Improvements
OnePlus 13 users are in for a treat with the latest firmware update, CPH2655_15.0.0.862(EX01). This update brings a mix of Polish improvements, new tools, and essential security fixes, including the September 2025 Android security patch.
The update enhances user experience with cleaner animations for lock screen alerts and Live Alerts, ensuring smoother interactions. The built-in IR Remote now sports a new, simplified control panel layout, making it less frustrating to use.
OnePlus has also improved image management. Moving images from Private back to public now places them in their original folders, making it easier to track them. Additionally, users can now change their Private Safe password from various locations like the Locked album in Photos or the Private Safe menu, adding more convenience.
The update also introduces a new map album that displays the location of users' pictures based on their location data, providing a visual way to organize and explore photos.
The OnePlus 13 update, developed by OnePlus, also includes screen time tracking in Phone Manager for quick access to daily and weekly usage. While specific details about the developers and release date remain unofficial as of October 2025, users can enjoy these new features and improvements on their devices.
