Porsche Cayenne EV Unveils Futuristic Interior, Promises 1000bhp and 373-Mile Range
Porsche has revealed the interior of its upcoming Cayenne EV, set to hit the market in 2026. The electric SUV promises impressive power and range, along with a futuristic, tech-packed cabin.
The Cayenne EV's cabin is dominated by screens. It boasts a 14.25in curved instrument panel and a 14.9in infotainment touchscreen for passengers, offering entertainment and a separate Bluetooth audio connection. The layout is centered around the Flow Display, split into two segments for complex and key functions. Physical buttons control most-used features, ensuring ease of use.
Dr. Michael Steiner, Porsche's Deputy Chairman and Member of the Executive Board for Research and Development, leads the project. He confirms the Cayenne EV will have power outputs approaching 1000bhp and ranges of around 373 miles, thanks to a large 108kWh battery pack. The SUV can recharge at up to 400kW, allowing a 10-80% refill in roughly 15 minutes. An innovative inductive charging system will also be offered for cable-free home charging.
