Porsche Unveils Cayenne Electric's Luxurious, Tech-Packed Interior

Porsche has revealed the interior of its upcoming Cayenne Electric, an all-electric SUV set to hit the roads later this year. The cabin, designed by Ivo van Hulten, head of interior design at Style Porsche, showcases a blend of traditional controls and modern digital interfaces.

The Cayenne Electric's dashboard boasts a curved OLED Flow Display, a key feature of Porsche Digital Interaction. This innovative screen merges digital technology with physical buttons for crucial functions. The expansive panoramic roof offers four levels of opacity, controlled by liquid crystal technology.

Heating extends beyond the vivid seats to armrests and door panels, ensuring even warmth throughout the cabin. The electrically adjustable rear seats can recline for a lounge-like feel or fold flat for cargo space. Porsche's Exclusive Manufaktur and Sonderwunsch programs allow for bespoke detailing and near one-off creations.

The Porsche Digital Key uses Ultra Wideband technology for proximity-based locking and unlocking via smartphones or smartwatches. Customization options abound, with 13 color combinations, four interior packages, five accent packages, and leather-free alternatives. Mood Modes orchestrate lighting, sound, climate, and seating functions to create distinct in-car atmospheres.
