Porsche's Cayenne Electric: High-Performance SUV Arrives by End of 2025
Porsche is set to launch the Cayenne Electric, a high-performance electric SUV, by the end of 2025. Based on the PPE platform, developed jointly with Audi, this vehicle promises impressive power and range.
The Cayenne Electric will boast an 800-Volt system, ensuring high efficiency and rapid charging speeds. It will come standard with all-wheel drive, finely tuned suspension, and precise traction control, making it capable off-road.
The interior features a curved display and a 'bent' OLED panel, with an optional passenger touchscreen. The top model, Cayenne Turbo Electric, will deliver over 800 kW (1000 PS) and up to 1500 Nm of torque. Performance-wise, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, reach 200 km/h in less than 8 seconds, and have a top speed over 250 km/h.
Powered by an 113 kWh battery, the Cayenne Electric promises over 600 km of range. It can charge up to 400 kW at fast-charging stations and has regenerative braking power up to 600 kW, comparable to a Formula E racing car.
The Cayenne Electric, set to hit the market by the end of 2025, combines Porsche's renowned performance with innovative electric technology. With its impressive range, rapid charging, and off-road capabilities, it's poised to be a standout electric SUV.
