You read that right! Two decades ago, we unveiled an online platform to share the wonders of Aotearoa New Zealand science. Over the years, we've transformed into the Science Learning Hub Pokapū Akoranga Pūtaiao, adapting to changes in education and science sectors. We've continuously tweaked our technology to keep our site up-to-date and relevent to our audience. Now, a site refresh is on the horizon!
To minimize disruptions, we'll carry out the update during the school holidays, but expect a touch of chaos along the way.
A Fabulous Makeover for the Science Learning Hub
Expect some major changes! We're enhancing our site for better functionality and ease-of-use.
What's In It For You?
Starting Monday, 14 April, we'll freeze sign-in functionalities. Over two days, we will migrate our user base to a new, secure admin destination. During this migration, you won't be able to sign in, access your collections, or favorites, but the rest of the website will remain functional.
The fresh site goes live on Wednesday, 16 April. Be patient during the initial days as the site might run a bit slow.
What Can You Do Now?
If you made a change in your email address since your last login, remember to update it. Your sign-in email is associated with your existing collections and favorites.
Modifying Your Details on the Hub
Click on the Profile button and then click on "My details" to update your email.
Password Update, Please!
Registered users will need to reset their password or use alternative sign-in methods after the site refresh on April 16 to access their collections and favorites. Ensure you use the same email address to maintain access to your existing content.
Signing In
Our sign-in page provides various options for logging in. New users can register via the "Register here" link on the page.
