At the 2025 International Security Expo (ISE), Riedel showcases the new iteration of their StageLink Edge devices, promising advanced technology for stage management.

**Riedel Communications Introduces the StageLink Family: Revolutionizing Networked Production Environments**

Riedel Communications, a leading provider of real-time communication and network solutions, has unveiled the StageLink family of smart edge devices, designed specifically for network streaming in broadcast, live production, and studio environments. The new product line offers media professionals an easy and efficient way to capture and distribute signals across networks.

The StageLink family, according to Phil Hey, Director Global Business Development at Riedel Communications, represents a significant step towards fully networked production environments. The devices are designed to eliminate complexities of traditional cabling and configuration, using standard network cables instead of specialized infrastructure.

The StageLink product line consists of six purpose-built devices, each tailored to specific workflow needs. Key devices include the NSA-006A (Workplace), an all-in-one interface for media workplaces, featuring mic preamps, headphone outputs, and stereo speaker connectivity. Another noteworthy device is the NSA-003A (Dual Partyline), which enables seamless integration of third-party legacy 2-wire intercom systems into Riedel's Artist and Bolero ecosystems.

The new networked I/O boxes streamline decentralized signal distribution over generic IP networks, providing a dynamic range of 151.7-dB(A) and advanced features like format agnostic inputs and outputs, automatic phantom power detection, and three DSP channels per universal input port.

One of the standout features of the StageLink devices is their smart edge device architecture, which enables decentralized processing and routing to reduce latency and network load. The devices also support high-quality uncompressed audio and video streaming, suitable for demanding broadcast and production environments. They are compatible with standard IP network infrastructures, such as SMPTE 2110/AES67, facilitating integration with existing media networks.

The StageLink system is decentralized, scalable, and integrates microphones, intercom, GPIO devices, and other audio-enabled equipment with ease. It offers full remote management capabilities, according to Roger Heiniger, Senior Product Manager at Riedel Communications.

Upcoming StageLink devices will expand beyond audio and intercom, flexibly transporting an even broader range of signals over IP, according to Phil Hey. The StageLink devices are expected to revolutionize workflows across multiple industries, from broadcast and live events to corporate AV.

In use cases like the Garage 59 GT racing team setup, the StageLink devices, combined with Bolero wireless communication and RiFace audio interfaces, have demonstrated superior race communication and production coordination. The devices' plug & play capabilities ensure simplified setup and configuration, designed to adapt to diverse production sizes and complexities.

In summary, the StageLink devices provide smart, scalable, and low-latency IP streaming solutions that enhance network efficiency, reliability, and integration, making them ideal for broadcast, live production, and studio setups demanding real-time, high-quality media transport.
