Role Supervisor
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is on the hunt for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Coordinator for their Service Center Division (SCD) in Warrendale, PA.
The Service Coordinator role requires 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or service coordination, ideally within a service-related industry. This position will focus on coordinating service activities, scheduling, liaising between customers and service technicians, and supporting the smooth operation of the Service Center Division.
One of the key responsibilities of the Service Coordinator will be to facilitate deliveries by working with MEPPI logistics and customers to schedule deliveries for large service-related shipments. They will also maintain the service calendar to track scheduled fieldwork, emergency calls, and technician availability.
The Service Coordinator will own the service process, planning, organizing, and scheduling service activities such as repairs, preventative maintenance, parts replacement, and warranty work. They will ensure site readiness by confirming that technicians hold necessary credentials and meet safety compliance for each job site.
In addition to these duties, the Service Coordinator will manage maintenance contracts and ensure that preventative maintenance work is completed on schedule. They will also generate and distribute work orders for all service activities and coordinate third-party equipment and logistics for site testing and start-ups.
The Service Coordinator will also support partners by issuing paperwork and coordinating payments for completed service work provided by authorized service providers (ASPs). Strong multitasking and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines are necessary for the role.
