Ross Video's Artimo system streamlines 3Cat-TV3's television production at their fresh barcelona headquarters.
In a significant move towards innovation, 3Cat-TV3, a part of Televisió de Catalunya / CCMA, has opened a new studio in Barcelona. This new studio is designed to enhance the broadcasting capabilities of 3Cat-TV3, as part of its investment in cutting-edge innovations.
At the heart of this modern studio are five Ross Video Artimo Systems. These all-in-one solutions, provided by Ross Video, eliminate the need for additional dollies and jibs. Each Artimo System includes a camera, lens, teleprompter, and monitor, making them capable of carrying a complete broadcast payload.
Ross Video's dedication and commitment were key to bringing the project with five Artimos to life. The collaboration between 3Cat and Ross Video has been reported by Marco Antonio Sánchez Guerrero, the head of 3Cat. The new 3Cat studio facility, located in Mexico, is expected to deliver an improved viewer experience.
Paulí Subirà, Head Art & Directing Managing Director at 3Cat, expressed satisfaction with the project. He noted that the adoption of the Ross Video Artimo System by 3Cat-TV3 signifies a significant investment in innovative broadcasting technology. The new studio project, featuring five Ross Video Artimo Systems, is considered ambitious and innovative by 3Cat.
The new studio project is part of Ross Video's continuing expansion across the EMEA market. This expansion underscores Ross Video's role in driving high-quality PSB (Public Service Broadcasting) across Europe. 3Cat-TV3 is one of the first major European broadcasters to adopt the Ross Video Artimo System at scale.
The audience is expected to enjoy the new studio as much as 3Cat does. The new studio aims to improve viewer experiences through investment in cutting-edge innovations, setting a new standard for broadcasting in the region.
