Samsung's keepin' mum on the exact timin', but with each teaser they're drippin' out, we're gettin' a clearer picture of what's cookin' with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 launch.

Ultra-Slick "Ultra" Foldable
Samsung's June 3 teaser had us all curious about the "next chapter of Ultra". An animation of a foldable might suggest it's the top-tier foldable phone Samsung will be offering in the galaxy. Folks like my colleague Gareth Beavis ain't concerned about the price tag, either.
This teaser also revealed a twofer — whether Samsung meant to or not. The image used in the release appears to have confirmed both the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 by bearing the file name "Galaxy-Z-Fold7-Z-Flip7-Pre-tease-Bartype_1920x1080.gif".
Samsung wants the Z Fold 7 to be slim, but it's got some stiff competition. The Honor Magic V3 measures 9.3mm folded / 4.4mm unfolded, while the Oppo Find N5 runs an even slimmer 8.9mm/4.2mm. Honor has teased its upcoming Magic V5 foldable will be even more compact. The previously released Galaxy Z Fold 6, by comparison, comes in at a hefty 12.1mm/5.6mm.
Three's a Crowd, But AI Makes It Work
Samsung laid down their next teaser on June 11, this time focusin' on cameras and AI. Animated GIF with a hint of triple camera setup was included, and Samsung pushes the AI-powered features angle by sayin' "the Galaxy camera is now part of the intuitive interface that turns what users see into understanding and action."
This device sounds like it could have Google's Gemini Live feature built-in (or a similar feature with Samsung's own branding), allowin' you to open up the camera for the AI assistant to see the world around you and provide real-time contextual information.
Recent reports point to a Galaxy Unpacked event happenin' sometime in July, so we might be just a few weeks away from findin' out just what Samsung has up its sleeve.
