Siemens Healthineers' government affairs in Europe, Middle East, and Africa are led by Schipmann
Marc Schipmann, formerly the Head of Consulting Central Western Europe and Global Head of Digital Transformation Consulting at Siemens Healthineers, is set to take on new responsibilities within the company, effective May 1, 2025.
Schipmann will assume the roles of Head of the Imaging IT/Advanced Visualization business unit and Chief Operating Officer of the Digital Solutions business segment. These new roles mark an expansion of his leadership responsibilities within the company.
Despite the new roles, there will be no changes in Schipmann's reporting structure. He will continue to report to Bernd Ohnesorge, President Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Siemens Healthineers.
In addition to his technical roles, Schipmann has also been appointed as the Head of Government Affairs and Policy for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Head of Government Affairs Germany. This promotion signifies a shift in Schipmann's focus, as he will now be responsible for government affairs and policy in the regions mentioned.
Schipmann's extensive experience in the healthcare industry, which spans over 10 years, will undoubtedly be beneficial in his new roles. He will continue to work in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, as well as in Germany, maintaining his geographical focus.
Schipmann's new roles do not involve any changes in his title or position within the company. He will still be a valuable asset to Siemens Healthineers, leveraging his expertise in digital transformation to drive the company's growth and success.
Schipmann's extensive experience in the healthcare industry, technology, and digital transformation will now be applied to the Imaging IT/Advanced Visualization business unit and Digital Solutions business segment of Siemens Healthineers, demonstrating a merge of business and finance interests within the company.
In his new role as Head of Government Affairs and Policy for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Head of Government Affairs Germany, Schipmann's decisions and strategies will significantly influence the company's interactions with the industry and finance sectors, impacting the broader business landscape.
