Schulze to streamline administration and reduce bureaucracy - Sven Schulze Aims to Streamline Saxony-Anhalt's Administration, Boost AI Use
Sven Schulze, Saxony-Anhalt's Minister of Economics, has announced his plans to streamline administration and reduce bureaucracy if elected as the next Minister President. This comes as incumbent Minister President Reiner Haseloff, who won't seek re-election, has endorsed Schulze as the CDU's top candidate.
Schulze differs from Haseloff in his approach to administration. He plans to reduce the current three-tier system to two tiers, aiming to increase speed in decision-making. To achieve this, he proposes creating a new position in the State Chancellery with decision-making authority for deregulation.
Schulze also plans to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to combat crimes and boost the agriculture sector. He envisions making Saxony-Anhalt a leader in AI usage in agriculture. The final decision on the CDU's top candidate will be made at the list nomination in November.
Schulze's plans for Saxony-Anhalt include reducing bureaucracy, increasing decision-making speed, and embracing AI in crime prevention and agriculture. If elected, he will bring a new approach to the role of Minister President, following Haseloff's decision not to run for re-election.
