A 17-year-old prodigy from Samastipur, Bihar, is catching headlines today. This young lad, named Ram Jee Raj, recently discovered a significant loophole in NASA's official website. NASA later recognized him in their esteemed Cyber Security Hall of Fame. After hacking NASA's site and sending an email to rectify the flaw, the US space organization acknowledged his contribution five days later.
Who is Ram Jee Raj?
Born to Rinkesh Kumar, a Pahepur resident near Samastipur, Ram Jee Raj is an ethical hacker. According to reports, he is currently working on an AI-driven startup aiming to transform agriculture. Raised with a keen interest in gaming, Ram Jee Raj was inquisitive about how games are created. This curiosity drove him to learn coding, game development, and web development. After watching hacking-themed movies, his interest in hacking intensified.
HACKING HIS WAY TO RECOGNITION
"As a child, I was amazed by the making of games. This curiosity pushed me towards learning coding, game development, and web development. Following that, I discovered an interest in hacking after watching hacker-related movies," he told ETV Bharat.

Now, he provides cybersecurity training to students and police officials across the nation both online and offline. Additionally, he has amassed numerous national and international accolades. Before being recognized by NASA, Ram Jee Raj previously made a place in the top-50 under the 'Youth for Unnati and Vikas with AI' program supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. His accomplishments inspire not only the youth but also demonstrate that outstanding talents can emerge even in small towns.
