TiVo's Powered by TiVo Platform Set to Conquer Europe and U.S. with 2 Million Active Devices by Year-End
Xperi's Powered by TiVo smart TV platform is making waves in Europe. By the end of this year, the company aims to have two million active devices in European homes. TiVo will unveil the platform at IFA 2024, accompanied by six of its OEM partners.
The IFA event will feature Powered by TiVo smart TVs from notable brands like Panasonic, TCL, and Vestel. Notably, Panasonic will debut its first TiVo OS smart TV, while Vestel will roll out TiVo-powered smart TVs in German retail stores. Later this year, the platform will hit U.S. retail markets.
Powered by TiVo aggregates content from diverse sources, including streaming services, linear TV, and sports channels, into a single, convenient hub. Currently, the platform is available on 17 brands across 15 European countries. Supporting TV sizes from 24 inches to 75 inches with 4K/HDR capabilities, it caters to a wide range of consumer preferences.
TiVo's showcase at IFA 2024, along with its expansion into the U.S. market, signals the platform's growing influence in the smart TV landscape. With its content aggregation feature and wide range of supported TV sizes, Powered by TiVo is poised to attract more users and solidify its position in the market.
