Unveiling the Next Generation of Silver Screen Talent: ROBE Announces its Newcomer Actors for Upcoming Film Projects
At Prolight + Sound 2017, Czech lighting producer ROBE unveiled a range of cutting-edge lighting products, particularly advancements in LED moving lights suitable for demanding environments. One of the standout exhibits was the Spiider LED wash beam moving light.
The Spiider LED, renowned for its impressive power and intensity, is capable of illuminating large stages and venues. It has previously been used in high-profile events such as concerts by Enrique Iglesias and Indian superstar A R Rahman, demonstrating its ability to throw light over wide areas (up to 90 meters) with high brightness and impact.
In addition to the Spiider, ROBE introduced the iFORTE® LTX FS, a white source LED moving light designed for outdoor use with an IP65 rating. The iFORTE® features:
- The Robe EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabiliser) system, ensuring precise, vibration-reduced Pan and Tilt movements. - Exceptional narrow beam projection for long distances, a performance previously exclusive to discharge source fixtures. - A unique parCoat™ hydrophobic and oleophobic coating on the front lens to repel water, dirt, dust, haze, and smoke, maintaining high lumen output in tough outdoor conditions. - The Cpulse™ PWM control system, allowing fine-tuning of LED driving frequency from 800 Hz to 25 kHz to eliminate flicker on all camera types, including HD, UHD, 8K, and 16K. - Unique split or multi-color effects generated either by a special split-color filter or directly from the multi-spectral LED engine (MSL™), enabling creative colour possibilities.
ROBE's booth at Prolight + Sound, located in Hall 3 (D80), promised an "ensemble of perfection". Every hour, ROBE presented an action-packed program, featuring a light show and a "voice of God" production presentation. Other new products showcased included the ParFect 150BMFL, the LEDBeam 150 (an ACL-style beam), the Strobe, the RoboSpot, and the LightMasterRemote follow spot system.
The Spiider LED light, named after its 19 LED multichip arrangement, was another highlight of ROBE's presentation. Prolight + Sound 2017 provided ROBE with the opportunity to officially present its new Spiider LED wash beam moving light, underscoring their commitment to high performance, durability, and creative flexibility. These products position ROBE's fixtures as reliable tools for both indoor and outdoor professional lighting applications.
During the first three days of the show, a happy hour was offered at the bar, featuring Czech beer, freshly prepared pizza, and hospitality.
