Verisure Launches Smart Lock, LockGuard, to Fortify Doors Against Burglars

Verisure, Europe's leading provider of professionally monitored alarm systems, has introduced a new security feature: the Smart Lock, LockGuard. This innovative device detects tampering attempts and alerts Verisure's alarm center, providing an extra layer of protection for doors, which are a common entry point for burglars.

Verisure's study reveals that 43% of burglaries occur through doors, with 29% involving lock picking. To counter this, LockGuard automatically locks the door when the Verisure alarm system is activated. It's designed for doors with a Euro profile cylinder and can be opened traditionally from the outside.

LockGuard offers remote locking via the Verisure app using a PIN code. This allows users to secure their doors even when they're not home. Moreover, Verisure ensures the LockGuard is always powered by sending replacement batteries when the battery level is low.

Verisure's LockGuard, integrated into their alarm system, provides swift response to break-in attempts. With 46% of doors with standard locks being vulnerable, LockGuard offers enhanced security. Verisure, with over 35 years of experience, continues to protect customers against burglary, fire, and emergencies, making homes and families safer.
