Video editing enthusiasts in Astana can take advantage of a free workshop to enhance their skills in creating video montages.
In the heart of the capital, residents can now participate in the JOLTAP project, which offers free training in professions sought after in the current labor market. One such specialty is "Video Editing" for beginners, as revealed by Vechernyaya Astana.
The course, lasting two hours over a span of 12 days, combines theory and practical assignments, including homework. Each group generally comprises between 15 to 20 individuals.
According to Sabina Murzabekova, the instructor of "Video Editing", the students show remarkable engagement. She mentioned, "Our primary objective isn't merely to impart theoretical knowledge but to demonstrate its practical application. We analyze real-world scenarios and equip participants with tools immediately usable after training. This encourages professional motivation within the students."
Students enrolled in this program not only learn the fundamentals of video editing but also gain insights into working with cameras, covering the entire process, from shooting to the final video.
Kirill Badaev, a program graduate, shared his experience, stating that before the course, he had limited video editing skills, mainly on mobile devices. "In just 12 days, I mastered basic editing skills on a computer and learned to seamlessly integrate work across multiple devices. This significantly expanded my service range and enhanced the quality of my own content. The practical advice and professional insights shared by the teachers were particularly valuable," he said.
The "Video Editing" course within the JOLTAP project commenced at the start of the previous year. Since then, over 230 individuals have completed the course, many of whom are now successfully putting their newly acquired skills to use in their professional pursuits.
The JOLTAP project continues to develop educational programs tailored to the demands of the current labor market, enabling young specialists to acquire essential competencies and confidently chart their career paths.
Students in the JOLTAP project's "Video Editing" course not only learn about education-and-self-development through the use of technology, but they also gain hands-on experience with gadgets like computers, enhancing their skills beyond simple mobile device editing. With a focus on learning practical applications, the course equips participants with tools that can be immediately applied in the field, fostering professional motivation and broadening their service range.
