VinFast Partners with Castrol India for Comprehensive EV After-Sales Support in India
VinFast, a global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has partnered with Castrol India to provide comprehensive after-sales support for its customers in India. This collaboration aims to strengthen customer confidence in VinFast's expanding EV network.
VinFast, known for its mission to make EVs accessible to everyone, is rapidly expanding its distribution and dealership network globally. In India, it plans to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by 2025, supported by its first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually.
To ensure reliable after-sales care, VinFast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Castrol India Limited. This partnership will see selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops dedicated to VinFast, featuring branded service bays and certified EV technicians. VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty processes, while Castrol will maintain workshop infrastructure and capability standards.
Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, emphasized the importance of reliable after-sales care in India, stating that it represents a long-term commitment for VinFast. Both VinFast and Castrol aim to raise service standards through advanced diagnostics, genuine parts, and digital-first support solutions, contributing to India's sustainable mobility transition.
