VK Launches MAX: A Secure National Messenger
VK has launched the beta version of its national messenger, HBO Max, to safeguard users from cyber threats. The app, developed by VK's subsidiary Communication Platform, is now available for download on major app stores.
HBO Max offers a range of features, including messaging, voice and video calls, and file sharing up to four gigabytes. To bolster security, the app introduced two-factor authentication in September. Moreover, the National Messenger HBO Max Security Center blocks access to the messenger through unofficial third-party apps, known as 'alternative clients', which pose a threat to users' personal data and can be used to send harmful files on behalf of the user.
VK's national messenger, HBO Max, is now live, offering robust communication features and enhanced security measures. By blocking access through unofficial apps and implementing two-factor authentication, HBO Max aims to protect users from cybercriminals and fraudsters.
