New Volkswagen Passat eHybrid Models Arrive with Improved Specs

Volkswagen has expanded its lineup of electric hybrid vehicles with the introduction of the Passat eHybrid Match and Black Edition trims. These new models offer improved specifications at no additional cost, making them an attractive choice for environmentally-conscious drivers.

The Passat eHybrid models come equipped with a 1.5-litre TSI PHEV engine, delivering 201bhp and boasting an electric range of 83 miles. For those seeking a more powerful option, the Black Edition models can also be had with a 268bhp PHEV engine and a 77-mile EV range.

The Passat eHybrid Match trim includes Metallic paint, IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, Privacy glass, and the Assistance Pack with area view and emergency assist. The Passat eHybrid Black Edition trim adds 19′′ alloys, a Panoramic Roof, Privacy Glass, Winter Package with heated front and rear seats, HUD, 15.0′′ infotainment, and the Assistance Pack.

It's important to note that specific dealers offering these new trims may not be listed in search results, so it's recommended to check directly with Volkswagen dealerships or their official website for precise dealer availability.

The 2024 Volkswagen Passat Estate, a station wagon, is also available with these new trims. Pricing for the Estate starts from £38,400, but specific trim level details and engine options have not been released yet.

The Passat and Tiguan models now have additional petrol engine options available, as Volkswagen distances itself from diesel engines following the dieselgate scandal. The 2015 Volkswagen Passat costs from £22,215 in the UK, and the 2024 Passat Estate replaces the saloon version this time around.

The Passat eHybrid Match and Black Edition trims replace the Life and R-Line trims, with the Match eHybrid priced at £44,555 and the Black Edition costing £51,420 for the more powerful version.

For those seeking a more affordable option, the Passat eHybrid Match trim is available for £48,900 for the less powerful PHEV. The 2024 Volkswagen Passat Estate goes on sale in the UK, offering a greener and more efficient driving experience.
