Volkswagen has revamped its in-car gaming experience. Fruit bonus icons in the gm have been swapped for Volkswagen vehicle silhouettes and logos. The Poki games app now features Pac-Man Championship Edition, playable in parked vehicles using a connected smartphone as the controller.
Volkswagen's Poki games app is a result of collaboration with Porsche and AirConsole, a Swiss casual-gaming platform. The app transforms compatible vehicles into a gaming station, making it the world's first such platform.
The game's dynamics extend to the vehicle's interior. It interacts with the ambient lighting and ID. Light system, creating an immersive gaming environment. The app is available in many European countries for various Volkswagen models from the 2025 model year, but not in New Zealand due to connectivity issues in local VW models.
