Yakutia Expands Eco-Friendly Fuel Infrastructure with New Gas Stations and Charging Points
Yakutia is set to expand its eco-friendly fuel infrastructure. The Ministry of Industry and Geology plans to open new gas refueling stations in Yakutsk and the Hangalassky district. This move aligns with the regional program for transitioning to greener fuels, which includes charging stations with a capacity of 149 kW.
The construction of these electric charging stations will receive significant state support, with subsidies covering 90% of the costs. These new stations will cater to all types of electric vehicles and allow simultaneous charging of two cars.
The region is already home to over 100 electric cars, with interest in the project expressed by several districts and cities. Currently, there are 10 gas-filling compressor stations, 23 gas refueling stations, and 23 mobile gas refueling stations (including 2 electric stations) in the region. Companies can also receive budget subsidies for creating charging infrastructure (60%, up to 1.86 million rubles) and technological connection costs (30%, up to 900,000 rubles).
Experts suggest equalizing basic support measures for electric charging stations and methane refueling stations, particularly in terms of tax incentives.
The expansion of gas refueling stations and electric charging infrastructure in Yakutia is expected to boost the adoption of eco-friendly cars in the region. The substantial state support and interest from various districts and cities indicate a promising future for green mobility in Yakutia.
